Digital Smile Design is a unique dental treatment tool that helps us plan a successful treatment plan for a patient. Our treatment plan will be completely based on a thorough analysis of the patient’s dental and facial proportions.
We use photographs, digital scanners and the very latest software as well as temporary mock-ups to get the best possible understanding of the relationship between the lips, gums, and teeth, as well as how they work together to create the patient’s smile.
The patient will be involved in the whole process.
This state-of-the-art technology enables us to predict more successful results for each individual patient.
CERAMIC CROWNS & BRIDGES
A crown is a fixed cover that is cemented onto existing teeth (or implants).
We use crowns most often to completely encircle or ‘cap’ a damaged tooth. We might recommend a crown to replace a large filling when there isn't enough natural tooth structure remaining or to protect a weak tooth to prevent it from fracturing or restore one that is already fractured.
Our practice offers patients a choice of the best material compounds to engineer a ceramic crown that best suits your individual requirements. For example EMAX is often the choice for aesthetics and Zirconium can be the better option where strength is the priority.
We take a digital impression of your jaw and carefully match the shade of your existing teeth. The crown is then digitally designed and crafted for a perfectly accurate fit and a beautifully natural look and feel.
In cases where teeth are missing, a bridge of 3 or more Zirconium crowns is used, with the adjacent teeth as anchors and a false tooth (a Pontic) filling the gap of the missing tooth.

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is made to match your natural tooth colour and attached to the front of your damaged tooth with special cement.
The veneers are prepared and engineered using digital technology.
We will remove a small layer of your tooth structure to make space for the new veneers.
Usually we recommend Porcelain Veneers for patients who want to improve their smile and who have minor irregularities with their teeth such as have chips, small gaps, discolouration etc.
TEETH WHITENING
A simple, very effective and relatively inexpensive way to get an immediate improvement to the look of your teeth is to use one of our whitening products and procedures to quickly brighten your smile.
The whitening of your teeth can be performed at home or at our surgery.
